Aciphex stopped working

Hi There,
I have been taking Aciphex for awhile and it worked great for a few months and then stopped working just like some of the other ppi's I have been on. To get me through I have been taking 2 zantac before my evening meal and sometimes I'll take one in the morning. If I need something else I'll take Maalox or tums.

Whatever the reason it seems to be keeping my heartburn under control. I just don't understand how this can be more effective than PPI's. Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone explain this??

Hi.

My PPI's also stop working periodically. The only solution I've found is to switch back to the type that I've been off for the longest amount of time. For example the PPIs availible in my country that I can tolerate are: Omeprazole, Lansoprazole and pantoprazol. I'l take Omeprazole for a couple of month, then switch to Lanso, then to Panto and then back to Omeprazole.
