Barretts

Hi all,

 So I have a question about Barretts and how effective PPI's are at preventing it. Has anyone hear had an endoscopy and told they were clear of Barretts and then later developed it while on medication?

I developed Barretts while on PPIs. Though my LES basically lost it's ability to work correctly over time and probably was the biggest contributor. This was after about 15 years or so of reflux.
