Hi there, Hope.
Are you on any pain meds, anything else that causes dry mouth?
It's winter, prime time for dry house and consequent dry mouth and nose.
If you feel you're losing weight and don't want to, just eat more often. You may need to eat 5 meals or so all the time because part of your stomach was used to make the wrap. Your stomach is much smaller now. This is great for people who need to keep weight under control. Don't try to stuff yourself! I didn't lose any weight, although I had some to spare, because I ate every hour at first.
Try to eat as healthy a diet as you can. Use the food processor if you need to. It was my best friend for several months. Pumpkin pie goes down pretty well. I still skip the crust and call it a vegetable.
As others said, it's early yet. This surgery helps us so much, but it's major surgery and takes a long time to heal.
