Hi Tk44
Many people assume they have too much acid when they have heartburn or reflux..But these are also signs of Low stomach acid. If there is not enough acid in your stomach, the stomach cannot break down food quickly. When food stays in your stomach too long (called delayed gastric emptying), the food and the remaining acid left in the stomach will be pushed back up the esophagus causing heartburn, reflux, and in worse cases vomiting
