Welcome Eugene.
Everyone swallows air while eating. After a Nissen many of us can't burp, much less vomit. I wasn't able to burp for a year or so and it caused some pain and more gas at the other end. After 5 years I can burp fairly well, not totally like before though. The thing is, they can do a dilation of the wrap, but do you want them to wreck a perfectly good wrap?
Diarrhea is a possible complication of the surgery. There are meds you can take for that. Read the Chron's forum. Cholestyramines and some other meds are prescribed to lower cholesterol and do the other job too. They aren't absorbed or metabolized. The generics are cheap. Don't get the giant horse pill. Insist on the granules that you sprinkle on pudding or applesauce. Don't chew them! They're coated to get past the stomach.
I wouldn't be pushing on the stomach. When I need to get a painful burp up I walk around. I don't take a bunch of "gas meds" either because I tried a bunch and they didn't really work.
Look up "gassy foods" and avoid them. Stay away from sodas. beer and other carbonated drinks. Never use a straw. You can look up plenty of more ways to avoid taking in gas when eating.
Best wishes.
