Yes, your information is helpful!! Try using the crockpot for beef, someone from the forum posted that tip... I have made stew & pot roast, the meat & vegetables are so tender, but do stick to small portions and chew, chew...chew!! I too experienced problems with red sauces prior to surgery, so far so good, no meds and even had a small portion of lasagna recently. My surgeon suggested chewing everything to a mashed potato consistency.
