Sorry you are still in so much discomfort! It is still early days - and you will be swollen and bruised inside. If you want to cut back on painkillers try not to take them so much during the day when you are sitting up, but before you go to bed. To be honest my pain killers made me very tired anyway - but I know it doesn't work that way for everyone. You shouldn't feel so bad about
taking pain meds - you still need them right now. Even where I am in my recovery I still get days where I have twinges from my wrap!
Hopefully when you have your hospital appointment they will add some things to your diet to make it a bit more exciting!
