What tests UES Strength?

Hello!

I am considering getting a UES strength test, if there one such exists. Does anyone know? And if so, does anyone know if it is effective? Or will it be potentially a false reading (ie: just because you passed in this moment in time, doesn't mean you have an issue)?

I am presuming you mean upper esophageal schincter? That measurement is performed during a manometry test. I don't think you can get this test performed without referral from an upper gi surgeon.

Yep was referring to the upper esophageal schincter. I will see about getting one next month or so. Thanks.
