You don't really want the strongest. You want the exact tightness that's right for YOU! That's what the testing is about.
I had a weak swallow - "wimpy" according to the doctor who did my study. I'd never have been able to swallow against a full Nissen. We read about "floppy" Nissen. That just means loose. Mine was a Toupet - only partial wrapped around the esophagus. There are 360 degrees they can do a wrap. Also the size of the "bougie" that's used to measure around will make a difference in how tight the new valve will be.
Do you have a hiatal hernia? If so, how large and what type? If that has to be repaired, that has to be taken into consideration too.
Is there any part of the stomach or the valve sticking above the diaphragm? If the esophagus isn't long enough to get put back under the diaphragm it has to be lengthened, either by letting it down (cutting it loose) or doing a Heller myotomy to make a bit more esophagus.
So keep reading. It's not so simple as strongest.
