I had hiatal hernia surgery in April 2015. I had a tremendous amount diarrhea for months afterwards and still have it once to a few times a day with quite a bit of gas still. I started burping up this thick smell a little to start with but now its 8 months later and the smell is unbearable. I never know when a burp is coming and the smell is so strong I can clean a room of people out. It happens all day long on and off.
The surgeron just kind of blew it off to nothing a few months back. I'm only 48 years old and divorced. This is horrible.
Can someone please tell me what I need to have done to get rid of this?
