I have GERD, inflammation of my esophagus, and mild gastritis.
The last 4 days I've had shortness of breath whether I'm walk, bending over, or sitting.
The amount of Acid I've been feeling "churning" in my stomach is ridiculous! I also felt it in my throat just sitting there the other day.

Has anyone had this happen to them?
Any information on the situation?

I've had heart tests:
20+ ekgs ( most recent 12/18/15 )
Echocardiogram April 20th, 2015.
24 hour Holter monitor April 20th, 2015.
Event Monitor October-November 2015.

So I'm attempting to tell my health anxiety to shove it.

Can GERD affect asthma?
My asthma from when I was child is back, mainly when I get sick.
( which I am right now, have been for 3 weeks. )

I'm going to the doctors today so I plan on mentioning it to her.

When my acid reflux goes crazy my asthma flares. It is the worst! I usually have to get a corse of steroids to calm it down.

My doctor said Reflux/asthma/shortness of breath go hand in hand, I was like awesome! This is totally what I want! ):

Yeah me too.
I got diagnosed with GERD today.
I feel short of breath but I hardly feel gastritis sympthoms.
But I have lost my voice completely during the last month.
I also had an exam with a a flexible wire camera and the doctor found out that I have a chronic laryngitis and that I have a lot of inflamation there.
So i had to buy some medicine: and injection of duodecadron, sultamicina and esomeprazol.
I hope this effing thing improves, I am an educator and what the hell I'm I going to do without my voice!

Wow! Definitely! Sometimes I think the inflammation in my esophagus definitely doesn't help!

That inflamation in my throat is driving me crazy! It hurts, it gets kind of dry and it hurts more. And I can say a word....I can barely whisper. So annoying, I can't even attend phone calls.
