een in the USA and Hawaii most of my adult life. Yes, Flaxseeds are so good, I make the gelll as a hair conditioner and make Flax Crackers, but I willl try to get some down my throat. it is soooo thick and gooey for sure! (-: Also have been mixing coconut oil and Slippery Elm bark and taking small amounts. good I can have oil because I love it! (-: see you soon. Come back and share more, OK?

This thread is a bit old but I think I will post here.
I have been losing my voice in the last month. I had a flu and my voice did not come back.
I started feeling lot's of dryness in my throat so I went for an exam with a doctor and he checked my throat with some special equipment.

He said that I have chronic laryngitis as consecuence of GERD, I didn't even know I had heartburn.
I have been taking the medication since Friday, I do feel better, I don't feel that pain and dryness in my throat, but my voice is not reacting.

How much time can it take to come back? What can I do to help the process? I am very worried because I work teaching and my voice is really important to do my job.
