endoscopy friday-neck pain today-perforation??

hi.

im probably being a little on the cuckoo side but after my endo on Friday I havent' felt great. first it was a gagging/lump in throat feeling and a feeling like food was scraping me behind my chest. Today is Monday, more than 72 hours since the procedure, and im starting to get pain all around my neck.

I of course had to look it up and saw that this can be a sign of a perforation. I called the doctor and he said this would be very unusual and would not take over 3 days to present. But, i'm in panic mode about it nonetheless.

I assume I'd be having worse symptoms but i googled too much and saw that sometimes these things are missed.

Any advice/experience?

I've had the pleasure of a perforated esophagus after an egd. I knew something was wrong in a couple hours and was in the hospital awaiting surgery within another hour or so. It was easily the worst pain I've ever had, topped kidney stones.
