Hi Panudh
GERD/LPR is often caused by low stomach acid.. not too much. It's usually rare that anyone produces too much stomach acid. When food stays in the stomach too long, you can have worse GERD, burping, bloating, stomach pains, and even abdominal fullness. I've included some information for you below on low stomach acid and why it causes GERD.
I want to mention, many times when the symptoms of low stomach acid are listed, they do not separate the short term & long term symptoms/issues associated with Low stomach acid. They are usually grouped together.
