Just had nissens and was wondering about activity not straight away

hello. take it easy, and follow, your surgeons directions, for amount of weight you can safely lift. what ever you do, the key, even up thru the first six months, is do not strain yourself. at three months, you can start to do more. this is a tricky recovery, at 15 months out, i feel comfortable, doing most things. but i am still careful not to strain and overexert. give your body, what it needs to completely heal. i do not now about you. but this is one operation, i do not want to get good at. good luck.

Thankyou for your advice. I was discharged from hospital 24 hours after surgery and the only thing my surgeon said to me was 'eat sloppy food for six weeks and I will see you in six weeks'. He is now impossible to get hold of and so am just doing things but slowly. I have also lost nine pounds in seven days

Thankyou very much for the advice. I will have to stop doing loads of things and hope there has been no damage. I feel so good though and that can make you forget about the trauma you have had done to your body. Now that you have given me some useful advice I will stick to it. Again thankyou
