Problems years after Nissen

I am at my wits end here...so much anxiety.
I may have already posted about this a while back but about 6 months ago I noticed food getting stuck going down my throat/esophagus. I didnt have insurance at the time and paid out of pocket for a barium swallow which showed nothing wrong whatsoever. Fast forward to recently and now my swallowing issue has worsened and food often times hurts a bit going down. I am also getting burning in my throat and have to clear my throat very frequently. I also feel sore around my adams apple and sometimes feel pain in my esophagus.
I will be getting an endoscopy in the next few weeks but the wait has been torture.
I am 27 years old, In 2012 I had a Nissen Fundoplication (which the barium showed to be in place)
and I have suffered with stomach issues since I was 19.
I keep worrying that I have something serious going on like a tumor.
Just needed to vent.

feel for you...this is part of the reason why I am getting a complete take down of my nissen fundo that I had 5 months ago. have other issues related to surgery but reading your issues years after surgery only solidifies why I am getting this taken down.

Just to clarify I am not sure that it is any problem with the surgery that has caused these issues.

After I had the surgery I certainly did not feel worse and actually went through a period of time where I felt better than I had in years.

Are you having a lot of surgery complications?

I had Toupet (partial wrap) fundoplication 4 mos ago. Lots of post surgery bloating, gas, diarrhea. Finally started the FODMAP diet recommended by a new GI and I'm having success. The diet originated in Australia and addresses sugars of all types that don't digest well in the post-surgical stomach, or if you have IBS. It is specific about what fruits/veggies you can tolerate, or which flours, drinks, etc. I just needed nighttime relief and I'm better using this diet.
