Anyone diagnosed with pots after fundoplication

Hi all
I had my fundoplication took down to a partial 4 months ago and now i have been diagnosed with pots. My heart rate jumps up when standing but this only seems to happen after i have eat

As anyone experienced this and does it get better with time

yea I have it, had nissen fundo on 08/17/2016 and its been hell since then. I have POTS which I know was due to the surgery. I am currently taking ivabradin to slow down my heart rate, I was diagnosed by DR. CANNOM in los angeles who deals with POTS. I have a slew of issues:

fast heart rate
stomach issues
get rashes
brain fog
light headedness
the list goes on

Im scheduled for a nissen takedown on 03/03/17 at USC...a complete takedown. This may make things worse or better or stay the same. But I can no longer have this up, im also feeling a pinching pain on the wrap. I am one of those cases where everything went wrong. I hate to be a downer but im 25% of who I was before this surgery.

Does ivabradin help with the fast heart etc

And did the doc say pots can go if you get a reversal

Yes ivabradin does work, lowers the heart rate. As far as reversing my nissen nothing is guaranteed, im just praying this helps. but I would rather take this down knowing I can cause more damage in the future with it being up. But at the same time by a surgeon going in they could cause more damage. Im one of those 5% cases...I cant believe this is happening to me. just praying that reversing does help a little

Just a quick one mate. We have had some kind of vagus nerve damage from this surgery. Did dr cannom tell you that you can recover fully from this eventually or are we mucked up for life. I have heard that the vagus nerve eventually makes other pathways but this can take a few years. Have you heard anything like this

No problem, well it's such a hard question to answer, if it was cut then no their is no chance of it healing that's what I have read but if it's bruised or nicked them their is a chance of complete recovery, my email is [email protected] if you wanted to chat more about our symptoms.
