Chew the solid food, and start with only soft "hard foods." Chicken, ground meats, lots of vegetables.
Don't try running for a long time yet, months. You'll be back to harder work soon enough. This is a marathon, not a sprint. You lost blood and had a long, major surgery. 6 months is the beginning and a year is when you'll feel back to normal, new normal. It won't be the same, but you won't have the pain and reflux. It'll be better!
Hire a kid to mow the grass. Be happy to walk and be eating without reflux.
