A little background on myself. I am a 39 year old male. I am 5'9" and weigh 160 lbs. I don't smoke, but I do drink beer occasionally. I don't drink any kind of pop and I eat pretty healthy. I used to be a pretty heavy coffee drinker.
In November of 2016, I got a pretty severe stiff neck on the left side. I have gotten them quite often over the years. Soon after my stiff neck, I started getting this "pain" under my left arm. It felt like I was wearing a shirt that was too tight. I dealt with this for a while, but then it started working its way into my chest. By January, my chest pains had gotten worse and I also started having shortness of breath with clammy feet. I ended up going to the ER, where they ran tests. After running tests (ECG, chest xray, and blood tests), the ER doctor said my heart and lungs were in perfect health. He told me to take some Zantac and Advil. This really didn't seem to do much.
Over the last several months, the dull pain in my chest has been pretty consistent. I have also developed pretty bad heartburn, pain in abdomen just below left ribs, and gas. I have taken several rounds of Prilosec OTC and it really seems to help while I am on it. Nothing of note has changed in my bowel movements, I am just having to deal with dull chest pain and digestive problems. It seems to get worse as day goes on. I sleep fine and wake up feeling ok.
Any ideas on what I may be dealing with?
