Yellow1955: I agree. So far, my GERD has gotten better when I try my best applying low FODMAP diet in conjunction with low histamine diet You can search Yasmina Ykelenstam about
histamine intolerance. I extract both diets and then make my own combination that works for me. I keep evaluating. I also know that low FODMAP diet is not meant to be long term, and I'm trying my best to not eating excessively, giving time between each meal, chew my food into liquid, not swallowing the next food on spoon too fast (this can be done with my time period chewing the food that is in my mouth), not drinking too much water during meal (give it time 30 minutes), doing small relaxed walk after big meal to fasten digestion, exercise, posture correction (not slouching too much), doing acupressure, vitamin D from sunbathing, diaphragmatic breathing, and also not lying down after meal. Don't forget the raising your head thing when sleeping.
I read that medical-wise, GERD can only by cured by LES surgery. So I hope I can do my best to manage mine. Best wishes to all of you.
