Gastric problems??

Hello...well my wife is sufferring from the same palpitation since a long time..have been to many doctors and different doctors said different things...shes been taking too many medcines yet palpitations still here.the last doctor said that its her nerves which reacts fast and that causes that palpitation.we olwaz thot that it must be a sort of gastric problems or something connected with the easophagus etc...should i bring her to a gastroenterologist doctor?? Please advice needed!!!thnks in advance.

I agree with Susie, schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist . Keep in mind that stress and anxiety also can also contribute to palpatations, even in conjunction with stomach issues.

I ended up with a referal to a cardiologist. In my case the palpitations were related to dehydration and low magnesium. Once I started drinking a lot more water, and taking magnesium twice daily, the palpitations went away. But not the GERD symptoms. Those two problems were unrelated in me.
