Have you been checked since the dry heaving episode? It is possible to wreck the wrap from excessive pressure like that.
If the wrap is intact, you should try keeping a "food journal." Look that up in the archives (the search box at the top of the page). I use a small notebook that I keep on top of my kitchen counter. Keep track of all foods, drinks, medicines, time of day, any reactions. Usually reactions will occur within a half hour to an hour, but in some cases it can take up to two days.
Get your doctor to give you a prescription for something for nausea. Most of us who have had the surgery keep Zofran on hand, just in case, to prevent the heaving because we can't vomit.
A couple of months is still pretty early. I had trouble eating regular foods longer than that.
