Swallowing and collarbone pain

Hello! I recently joined this forum for some support as i'm fairly new to GERD and no one i know has it or has heard of it.

The only symptom i'm currently having is sore throat, but also when i swallow anything (food, drink) i feel like one part of it is going down to my stomach and the other part is going to the left side of my neck down to my collarbone where it causes pain. It feels like there's a hole on the side of my esophagus that leads food towards the collarbone (sometimes it feels like it goes to my chest where it also causes pain) and i'm really scared. Is this just a normal symptom of GERD?

I'm not on any medication because i'm trying to keep it under control with dietary changes.

I get this swallowing issue too. It feels like it goes down another channel but not in the lungs or stomach. I have no idea why it does this. Always at the base of my throat around where my collarbones are.

I'm sorry you're feeling this too :/ i always hold my hand on my neck and collarbone so i wouldn't feel it and sometimes it helps, sometimes not. If you find out what it is, let me know. I'll do the same.
