Hi,

I am just wondering get if anyone experiences constant reflux symptoms with no relief? I have had ultrasounds, an endoscopy and even a ct scan and all that has showed up is a cyst on my kidney and also one on my liver. I think I have tried every ppi but I still have constant burning and soreness in my stomach and sometimes into my chest. Does anyone have suggestions? I am so frustrated.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. Are you under a lot of stress, or take a lot of ibuprofen, such as Advil or Aleve? Have your tried a little more exercise, or tried losing something as simple as 5 lbs? Believe it or not, sometimes little modifications make a difference. Are you keeping a food diary to try and identify any food triggers? It's also possible to develop food sensitivity later in life.

I have had gerd - not severe but daily for a long time. Also have a hiatal hernia and had an ulcer in the past. Months ago, I finally went to a specialist and had an endoscopy which didn't show a lot, though was surprised to be told I was a bit backed up (which was weird since I didn't have any issues with that).
Anyway, I am taking a product that is helping me - good for digestion because it has active enzymes and buffering agents in it.

Sharon, I thought it might be stress related but I am under very little stress and for the most part I think I have it under control. I don’t take any ibuprofen and I have no weight to lose. We have a lab retriever so I am out walking daily for an hour on average. I have not kept a food diary but that is a good idea and I will see if I can figure out anything. I have done gluten free, dairy free and sugar free for almost a year and did not notice any difference. I have done a food sensitivity test and followed it without results but sensitivities change and maybe i’m still doing something to aggravate my body.

Glammy4, just wondering what product you are taking? 8 have tried different digestive enzymes and aids but am willing to try something new.

I've been thru it all Toadie.....had the LINX procedure and a hiatal hernia repair five weeks ago because of enduring about seven years of severe acid reflux, ppi's didnt work, nausea, pain, and 24/7 of a constant stream of the metallic bitter taste up into my mouth....if you have any questions for me, please ask, and so sorry you're going thru all this....I truly feel your anxiety and pain....
