Hi Rufus
So happy you are on the road to recovery and sounds like you’re doing well.
I’m doing fine too! Had a little setback last 2 days very tired from not much protein I guess. I did inadvertently lift my 15 kg grandson onto a wall beside me and was worried I’d done something as I had a bit of shoulder pain the next day and a touch of an ache but not really heartburn but when you read everyone’s blog you see a lot of slight setbacks on this journey!😏
Were you given lift limits? I’m only to lift 5 kg first 6 weeks then 10 kg next 6 weeks.
Food wise I’m only on small amounts of mashes and purées and scrambled eggs at 4 weeks but swallow it all with sips of water so essentially liquid ( gravy is good on purées!) I think the 4 to 6 weeks liquid is fairly common practice 🙂
Hope your back stops aching. Continue your good work.
I’m enjoying some great British drama series The Crown which I’d never seen and Finding Faith at the moment.
Cheers
Rosie
