Sur214:
Have you tried a O-T-C Pepcid at night? There's also a prescript
ion product call Sulcrafate that coats the stomach. There are a lot of people on the Forum that have had great success.

How long would rebound reflux last?
I dropped from 40 mg 2x a day to 40 mg a day to 40 mg every other day to 20 mg every other day....
Now I am trying not taking them anymore.

Did your doctor advice you of the weaning schedule, or did you do it on your own? There's no way to know how long the rebound will last, sorry.

He told me to start going off about
2 weeks after surgery 2/14. But I kept getting chest pain and heartburn. So now I am trying to do the 50% each week started last month end of April.
