headache from Nexium and Priolesec

I'm new on this forum and as I read the posts I see that many people are on Nexium and Prilosec. I was give both by the GI doc, but they both give me terrible headaches. I've been using Zantac 150, which doesn't really help but at least I don't get a headache.

I was put on Prilosec also and it gave me headaches as well. I was then put on Nexium no headaches. I am not working and have no insurance so I could not afford the Nexium anymore. I have tried Prevacid no headaches from that either. I now take Prilosec OTC 20mg and I get no headaches from these not sure why.

I hope you can find something that helps without giving you headaches.

Yes, my doctor gave me a sample of Protonix. I'm new to this forum and I'm surprised to read so many negatives about these drugs.
