Stuck feeling

I have heard differing opinions on whether gum is good for people with this condition. Last night, I accidentally swallowed a piece whole before I even got to chew it. Sometimes, I suck on this type of gum for the flavor like a piece of hard candy.

It still feels like it's stuck. I'm not having any issues breathing or anything that seems emergent. Everything I have read indicates it is likely to pass through my stool. I suppose the concerning part is the fact I have a partially failed wrap ('13). I've eaten since and all that.

If anyone has any advice or ideas, I'd appreciate it. I'm a long-struggling hypochondriac.

I don't know how true it is, but ever hear the story of how the Life Saver got its name? That hole is in the middle in case you swallow one whole, I believe. I just enjoy the extreme mint flavoring of the gum. However, I won't be chewing it anymore, I'm sure.

I have read to chew gum and not chew gum. My doctor told me not to, especially mint gums.
