I'm absolutely terrified the barretts I have will turn nasty. To the point, I'm really scared. I think my swallowing issues at the moment have hightened my fear. I'm very very fearful.

I know that you are worried, but the risk of esophageal cancer in patients with Barrett’s esophagus is quite low, approximately 0.5 percent.

Sharon,
I can cope with a Nissen Fundoplication re-do if thats whats causing my symptoms but I'd never cope with Barretts progressing.

I will talk to someone about
my anxiety.
I'm more worried about
Mom, because we lost Dad and she can't lose me too. 😪

I think that's the best thing for right now.
