Hi! I found it very helpful to space out my eating and drinking separate from one another. The less volume I had in my stomach, the better, so I would try to snack, eat and so on during one hour, wait a while, then have my drinks. That way there's less total volume ( Especially liquid/drinks ) to come back up and cause symptoms. As well as completely abstaining from eating/drinking -anything- several hours before bed, so I was laying down with an empty capacity. That did wonders in preventing those flat-laid surges of reflux.
