Post fundoplication surgery

Hi I am 9 week post fundoplication surgery and have been still having post nasal drainage in my throat causing a cough! I’m still have a slight feeling of gerd! No problem eating as I’m on regular diet’ anyone else have same problem? I’m afraid the coughing will cause my wrap to come loose and don’t want problem with hernia again!

You are still in the recovery stage, and you can expect small setbacks along the way. I'm not familiar with post-nasal drip as a result of surgery, but not to say that it doesn't happen. The wrap is surprisingly resilient, and shouldn't be compromised as a result of coughing. Are you positive it's not seasonal allergies? You can always contact your surgeon's office to discuss your concerns.

I had similar, just without the coughing.It turned out it the acid was Gastritis that was causing it. I needed a couple of months more PPI usage and Ulsanic (ulcer treatment meds).

9 weeks in coughing should be OK.
