Failed Surgery

Hi I had an anterior Dor fundoplication 9 weeks ago and all my symptoms are back and to add to it I’ve lost nearly a stone and look Ill. I’m so depressed and lost at the moment as what the future has for me, I see the surgeon Tuesday but what is he gonna do really apart from maybe get some tests to confirm.I’ve been pretty good with food as in sticking mostly to the diet only a couple of times had a curry but I have had the odd single pint of lager a few times as burping isn’t a problem and definitely feel worse after it, but the surgeon told me it was fine when I saw him after op, been wondering if it may be gastritis maybe and some reflux so am gonna stop that now, I’m so frustrated and it’s affecting my home life and marriage, I probably have had 3 good days weeks ago in the 9 weeks then I went to the dentist at 7 weeks and lay back in chair for an hour and was sore around site after, since then sure symptoms are worse and now all my Lpr symptoms are back as they were before. Not sure I could go with a redo and lose more weight. Any advice on weight gain i just don’t feel like eating and feel nauseous but need to gain at least half stone.

Thanks for the reply I glad you are doing well, yes it’s hard to not stress as the thought of failure is horrible hopefully I’ll feel less when I speak to him tomorrow. Did you have nasal congestion aswell with your laryngitis? Maybe I do really need to try and chill because I find when I’m at home with my family my voice seems bit better than in work, it’s just the regurgitation and nasal congestion seem constant and I’m sure my sinuses were clear for a couple of weeks after surgery. The only things I’ve done that could have caused any damage is I took a stimulant laxative at 5 days because I couldn’t go which I read after I shouldn’t have done, ran 30mins at 6 weeks and was aching a bit after and the hour in the dentist chair at 7 weeks and had some aches but surely these shouldn’t cause damage.
