Nissen Fundoplication:

Has people know who've followed my story closely my swallowing has improved since being placed on Lansoprazole and my swallowing was fine my wrap is satisfsctory according to my surgery but after contracting a Stomach bug last night i was heaving really bad and was sick and this morning food seems to slow down again is it possible that the wrap has became irritated.

How long does it usually take an irritation to settle back down? I had this before and it took around two weeks to get back to normal.

I vomited quite a lot Tuesday morning of last week and straining a lot too which is unlike me ever since then my swallowing has been up and down slowing down, little but stuck and then goes but just had some chicken and it got stuck but up until I was sick Tuesday, my swallowing was practically back to normal for like seven months.

Thank you Sharon, my food is going down but it's been up and down since those heaving and being sick periods after a stomach bug. Until then my swallowing was about 90% and I told my surgeon on our over the phone check up a few days before my bout of sickness its been superb for months but I'm annoyed at myself for being sick really bad because the issue has surfaced in periods again since sickness.
