I had an endoscopy yesterday my fifth endoscopy in 10 weeks and they checked the esophagus and they checked the barretts and the stricture has my swallowing was back to normal they didn't need to stretch any further.
On the report the barretts was described has bland and uninflamed which I can assume is positive and there is no dysplasia happening because I have a large segment barretts at 10cm.
Also on the 16th of June my previous endoscopy they took about 10 biopies every 2cm and I had the results yesterday and he said they were very positive and there wasn't any Cancer.
But there is a very small hernia which i said to him will I need that fixed and he said we don't want the acid leaking back into your food pipe again.
But overall over the moon with happiness and my next endoscopy is scheduled for July 2023 so back to my annual routine checks.
John.
