Iv a continuous pain in Center under my rib cage just won’t go away it’s been there for a full week now all day long anybody know why

Guessing from your previous post, you are suffering from GERD. All these pains surrounding chest areas are due to GERD as per my experience. But my best advice would be to consult your Gastro and have a diagnosis.

Is this why you had the surgery think I made a mistake has iv cancelled it and I’m not seeing the surgeon now till September has I wanted to see what I’ll be like if I change my diet iv seen lot of bad reviews about that surgery and now iv got this pain what won’t go away

My main symptoms were a lot of acid reflux which would make my life hell in form of acid reaching to my throat, ears, sinuses. I had poor quality of life. I couldnt focus, started developing anxiety and depression. Whenever there was GERD attack it was acute to a level that I would think I am going to have a heart attack or a brain stroke and I might die.
PPIs stopped working and I would end up in ER for IV ppi shots. I gave up and chose to undergo nissen full wrap instead of toupet since I didn't have any swallowing dysfunction.

You sounded like you had it really bad I hope you feel much better now with the surgery how’s the eating after surgery

First two weeks were really bad in terms of eating. Then following two weeks I had semi solids including mince. After that I slowly started taking solids... One by one. By now I can eat anything except for few trigger foods which gives me gas/bloating.

And yes I am feeling a lot better. I can't say the surgery has cured me.... But it's too early for me since I am just 8 weeks out. I know it will be another couple of months to feel more better. But yes definitely there is improvement.

My surgery was performed because I suffered my entire adult life with GERD. At age 54, I had the surgery because the acid had aspirated into my lungs and was causing severe asthma in addition to the GERD symptoms. I would do it all over again. I also tell people to check ahead of time with their insurance provider what, if any, deductibles or co-insurance amounts you may need to pay before surgery.

Yesterday I got offered my surgery again after refusing it so iv accepted it and I’m having it Aug 22nd hopefully iv made right decision I was so bothered about will I be able to eat normal again and it won’t be a long road

With the burping and being sick what happens has you can’t do any of them or can you burp has the gas is going to sit in your stomach so iv been told I’m having hernia repair and toupet fundoplication 270 wrap iv got 3.5 hernia they told me the valve is damaged that’s why I’m getting this reflux I am worried about this when has any of you been able to eat normal food again like you use to

Don't stress about this. You will be able to eat normally after 4-6 weeks. And with Toupet the complications of food getting stuck and belching issues are rare. I have full 360 wrap and even I didn't have any major issues of dysphagia whereas you are having toupet so I don't you will have such issues.

So I’ll be ok to burp and be sick if needed was worried I won’t be able to do that and it would be sat there thank you

Please ask your surgeon these questions, so you'll know for sure. Every type of surgery is unique and some do have the same complications.
