Tried to look up anemia and bleeding ulcer on the net. There it was a AMA (American Medical Society) statement saying that proton pump inhibitor users have A BIG PROBLEM
. We have a 27% more likehood of catching "community pneumonia" I went to an asthma club and several people said after pneumonia they felt as if there were fur in their lungs. NOT A PRETTY THOUGHT. I intend to discuss this with my docs but hope maybe somebody will have a good idea here in this chat room. Thank you.

But the doctors don't tell you this, do they? Ugh...I had heard this before too but if you can't get the pain to go away without the ppis...what choice do you have?

You're right but the ppi did not work for me. I have a bleeding ulcer and a bad taste in my mouth. Over two years of taking ppi's and they found the ulcer. My gosh...what choices do I have?
