Thanks for your response... I did not read far back enough in the archives about your experience with prilosec (will do so later today...) but I did have a glance at some of your latest postings.
I tried ginger for nausea when I was pregnant with disasterous results (also mint makes me feel ill, as does cinnamon.) It's interesting how each individual's body chemistry can react to some herbs & medications.
I am planning to pick up some DGL licorice today to try that, and have also been curious about apple cider vinegar. I'd heard about it's purported helpful qualities a while back, but was afraid to try it because I do react badly to other strong (acidic) vinegars. It sounds like it has worked for you (DANIE.) Have others on this site had success with the apple cider vinegar? I will try to search the archives, but would appreciate hearing updates with recent experiences.
