emotional problems w/ nexium

Has anyone had any emotional problems while on nexium? Mood changes, dizziness, anything, please let me know I'm trying to track down my problem.

When the Nexium kicked in I had a terrible dry mouth. I had chest pains and my jaws hurt and I became confused. I stopped taking Nexium and had a rebound. It lasted a couple of weeks, but I'm doing much better. I'm taking Zantac and it seems to be helping. Hope you find your answers. Dee

You are not alone on this one. I have never had any emotional or mental problems. I started the Nexium and at about week three, I was getting depressed every day(couple of times crying), confussion, double vision. I have a post about it. Scared the crap out of me! Especially since I am a big corn feed Country Boy! My doctor has switched me to Aciphex.

Dunno if it is from the Nexium, but I do get "fuzzy" in the head, almost every day in the afternoons if I'm at work. It's kind of a cross between being light-headed and dazy (hard to concentrate). But this started nearly 3 months after starting the Nexium so I'm not positive it's the drug that's causing it. /shrug

I have an acid taste in my mouth when I take Nexium, and my chest hurts!! So, I think that nexium does not work for me!!
