Terrible Esophagus pain!

It is just getting worse. I have had no heartburn that I'm aware of, but no matter what I eat and how soft I make the food to swallow it, I feel pain when swallowing and it hurts so bad right after I eat.

My appt with the GU specialist isn't until the 20th, but I can't wait that long for someone to help me.

I called my PCP and she wants me to come in tomorrow. She is an internal medicine doctor and is very good.

I think there is a possibility my esophagus is infected. I have felt like crap since this started and can't eat a thing. I'm not pigging out, and am eating really good so why this is happening I don't know.

I have the exact same problem and i have history of Acid reflux with couple peptic ulcers. But my problem started after my Doc put me on doxycycline for another problem. Were u taking any antibiotics? I have been through course of reglan and PPIs but didnt make no difference. Got my upper endo schedule for monday. Let me know what ur PCP says. wish u good luck
