For a few weeks now, I've been feeling discomfort in my chest.
Like, there's somebody sitting on it and making it extremely difficult to breathe.
I thought it was just gas bubbles getting caught while trying to make their way out.
Also mixed with the anxiety that I do infact know I have.
Because, for a bit, after bleching, I felt a whole lot better.
So I started to take Mylanta and an antacid liquid.
I was convinced they were actually working.
Until, just recently, more symptoms have started to show.
about four days ago, it started with, the feeling of my shirt collar being way too tight.
When I realized my shirt was not that close to my neck, I thought 'gas, again'.
After a few minutes, it began to get worse.
My entire throat became numb and it felt as if there was something stuck in there.
And the sensation of my throat starting to close got worse.
I freaked out and was extremely alert when I found it difficult to swallow.
Along with that, sometimes I find it hard to get a decent inhale in.
Some other things are: Feeling sick, burning chest, and sore throat.
Like right now, it feels if a food product is caught, but I know for sure there's not.
I've been having these feelings from the moment I wake up to the time I go to sleep.
'Specially, the numb throat sensation.
It makes me absolutely nervous. And bothers me there's nothing I can take to stop it.
I haven't gone to a doctor's just yet, but my sister has the same thing.
Except, with a lot more mild symptoms than I.
I've also realized it makes the anxiety worse and depression seems to be closing in.
I feel as if I'm hopeless and can't do anything but stay home because of this.
I was just wondering, if anyone had any suggestions of what I could do.
Just to make the throat sensation subside.
Since that's the biggest issue I have as of right now.
So it's at least somewhat comfortable to stay awake, eat, drink, and breathe.
Thank you. :)
