Does anyone know if its okay to take DGL and Aciphex?

I did not take DGL with a prescription PPI when I took it. If you were given DGL by a natural physician, check with them. Your regular doctor who prescribed the Aciphex most likely wouldn't know the answer because most MD's don't believe in herbal supplements; but a natural physician would know. If you are taking DGL because you heard it was good for GERD, then your other alternative is to check with a pharmacist. I'd be a bit leary about taking advice regarding the mixing of a prescription and herbal supplement on an internet board.

Yes, I took DGL along with my PPI's.  I have taken it with prescription strength Prilosec, Nexium, and Prevacid.  I know many people say it taste horrible and it does but I took it for so long I can eat it as if it were candy.  Don't worry I took tons of it and nothing ever happened to me.  The best thing is to try to keep it in your mouth as long as you can to mix with your saliva....Good luck..Barbara...

Yes, my Dr says DGL is fine to take with prescription meds like Proilosec and Prevacid. And yes it does taste nasty.I did not take it for long. A month or so. Just could not get pass the taste.
