Throat pain!

Well about 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with strep throat. My pain by my spleen worsened. Then about 1 week later those same symtoms came back by my spleen worsened again and now every once in a while I feel like my throat is closing up. I don't know what this is and there is a sign of something. Anyone any suggestions  . My mom knows about all this I am just looking for answers you guys might know more than my doctors. I had a ultrasound all came back normal.

Hey Grace. I have a few things I want to say... First, Red, you offer great advice, but I wouldn't suggest googling symptoms. Please don't be offended that I am somewhat disagreeing with you here. My reason is this...often times, people google their symptoms, and then it turns out that they get themselves thinking that something is wrong with them, when it's really nothing, or something minor. In my opinion, googling symptoms is NOT good. I use to do it, and I diagnosed myself with every disease imaginable, and then, I started to have major health anxiety, and it's just not worth it. Now, Grace...we are not better than your doctors. We are all normal peeople just here offering advice to things we know about . I have a few suggestions for you. I agree with Red that you might want to think about anxiety. You seem to have a lot of health concerns at such a young age. Anxiety can make you feel like you have so many things wrong with you...when in reality, you are healthy. I would suggest going to the doctor for a FULL PHYSICAL. Running all the blood tests they run during a normal physical. If you get a clean bill of health, maybe talk to your Mom about seeing a therapist. There is nothing wrong with talking to a therapist...sometimes you just need to get things off your chest in order to feel better. Please, let us know how you are doing. Wishing you the best!

Grace, I mentioned you seeing a therapist in your other post, so this question might be premature, but are you getting treated for you anxiety issues? I think all your health worries are definately anxiety related...just my opinion though. Wishing you a happy and safe NEW YEAR.
