Tammy - am looking to see if any forums on Healing Well deal with pilonidal cysts and I don't know what to look under or if it's a topic that is covered at all. Most information found by "googling" is just horror stories much the same as info I found for Nissen procedure before finding Healing Well. I've done the medical research portion just like I did for the Nissen, now I'm looking for the "been there, done that" discussion area for those that have had the pleasure of experiencing it recently.

Hey there Happily...I did a search of the healingwell site, and couldn't come up with anything covering pilonidal cysts...Unfortunetly, I don't think any of our forums deal with that.  I am going to ask the administation if there is anywhere he'd suggest you could go here on the forum. Thanks for the research Tammy. I'm OK with finding locations on the web, I've been to all you suggested and have found pilonidal.org to be the best source of information. I was just wondering if there was a chat section on Healing Well and if not, thought it might make a good addition under "Diseases & Conditions". I bet it turns into one very hot topic.

I've already got the "experience" for symptoms and surgery to have it removed - I was just hoping to find a kindred spirit that had the surgery recently to chat with as finding Porcelain Doll was quite helpful after the fundo.

You can delete this subject I started as it really doesn't belong under GERD and is wasting your space. Need to leave all the room possible for lap surgery topics :)

Hey Happily...I was talking to the moderator over at Crohn's, and she suggested you go on over there, as they have talked about issues like that. She thinks it may help you out some! If you'd like, go on over there, and start a topic, as I am sure you will get a response!! Hope I have been able to help you!
