Hey my name is steve and i have been having these dry heaving attacks dont know why? but they come up could it be anxiety or gerd my doc say its acid reflux im not sure though i could be a mixture of the two cause i feel kinda bad when i eat certain foods before i would eat great and now when i wake up i feel like not eating at all just looking at food makes me gag or dry heave but i eat very small meals now nothing to big if any body could tell me whats up please help Thanks

Welcome to HealingWell.  The sx you have described could be caused by other problems but may I suggest you make an appointment with a Gastroenterologist.  Find out what is going on with your stomach and the loss of appetite, and the emesis you are experiencing daily.

You sound like you are feeling pretty miserable.

early today i felt like my throat was tight which caused me to gag voilently i really dont know im kinda tired of this feeling really

Steven, I agree with Kitt 100%; I certainly would be looking for a good gastroenterologist and possibly an endoscopy to see if something is there. Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
