Bravo proceedure

Am scheduled for this on 9/11. Any comments. I was surprised since we already know I have a bad acid problem but he wants me to stay on the PPI's even though the directions say to go off. He wants to see if they are helping or not. I say NOT. Anyone had this?

I had a bravo; the capsule is inserted during endoscopy, I remember having a sensation of some sort afterwards, but it was minor and caused no problems. I was on and off meds for the 24 ph (depending on which time), but the bravo I had off meds. I remember wondering the same thing when having tests while on, but they have their reasons I guess!!

In any event, the bravo wasn't a big deal, far easier than the 24 PH and I flunked both...with flying colors!!!

I, honestly, don't know why he is doing this. He already said we know you have GERD but for some reason before I go to the ENT Dr. he wanted to have it done. Could be money as I am sure they charge a bundle.I would not have done the 24PH.
