Breakthrough heartburn

I Have gerd ,gastroparesis and also stomach ulcers. I have been suffering with breakthrough heartburn . I am on reglan and zantac. Is there anything else I can take for the breakthrough heartburn?

You probably need something more than Zantax like Nexium, Prilosec(almost the same) Protonix, Prevacid or Aciphex. What are the ulcers from? Medicine? as most ulcers now are caused by the H. PYlori bacteria and you need a special cocktail of drugs to get rid of it. For you heartburn you might try Maalox Complete as it will coat the esophagous and Ido think the doctor can give you omse pain med for it also that will coat it.

Sorry to hear your having break through pain but the advice from VIEW IMAGE
Canyonbabe711 is spot on. Hope you get rid of the break through pain.
