I have been sorting through cookbooks and recipes for food that my husband can eat. We are both getting so tired of eating the 8 things all the time. My husband is completely burned out on turkey sandwiches for lunch. I have adapted many of my Weight Watcher recipes, and outright made up recipes. Thank God for fresh cilantro, feta cheese, fresh parsley, and rosemary, otherwise food would have no flavor at all. I have found that I can replace onions with cucumber in many recipes and using fresh herbs really adds more flavor than dried seasonings. By the time I am done with all this research I'll be able to write my own cookbook. It is quite a challenge. My husband hates it when he travels most; sometimes the lunches are brought in and you don't have a choice; in that instance he has to leave the workshop and purchase his lunch separately.
Wish we had a separate site for GERD/Colitis/Reflux people to find recipes instead of having to try and go back, back, on the thread lines. Anyone got a great recipe? Please post it! Thanks!
