What else to do

I'm new here. about 5 years ago I started having burning pain over my liver. The pain would migrate some to my lower stomach and sometimes to my left side. I went to doctors but they just looked at me like I was a complete hypochondriac. I later moved to a new state and went to the gastro doc. He did an endoscopy and found a small red spot on my esophogus and a small red spot in my stomach. He said he thought I had gerd and gave me nexium. But by the time I had the endoscopy the pain had really gone away. I did not take the pills very long. about eight months later it came back. I went to the a new doc who did abdomial scan and hyda scan for gall blatter. Nothing. I think he got tired of me coming back so he sent me to the gastro doc. This was  a different one. He talked to me for 10 minutes and declared that my problem was functional dyspepsia. He said he would do an endoscopy if I wanted but was certain of his diagnosis. This endoscopy showed several ulcers in my esophogus. He put me on prevacid. I had been taking it for a while but it wasn't helping so I went back to him. He said that the only other thing he could do was surgery. I later went to my primary physician and explained that the pills aren't working but it's like these doctors don't listen. I was taking them religiously but it wasn't helping so I didn't take it so often. I work graveyard shifts and it's been confusing when to take them. He was totally convince that my pain and problems are because I'm not taking the pills right. So I've been taking them now religiously for two months and I'm still in utter agony. I've cut out 95% of the stuff that I know is making me hurt. I can't even drink water. I went out yesterday and bought ginger and aloevera and some other stuff. Aloe seemed to help yesterday and today but I just don't know what else to do. I at the end of my rope with the pain and doctors. any suggestions?

I made an appointment with a new gastro doc today. Going to the family practice guy tomorow.
