Bill - Good luck & stay strong & in no time - I am sure you will be having that juicy chicken
and steak.
Barb, you are right, it is difficult for me stay like this. The med (PPI) doesn't seem to be affective. My sleep is not good. I take melatonin and it help some, but wake up all the time doing the nite.
I have soar-throat - my neck make click sound - painful.
Am exhaused in the day time at work! Barb, thank much for your advice. Barb, Nexium - how many MG are you taking? I was on Nexium while back - 20mg in the morning and 20 in the evening. It work quite well for some time - but I wasn't able to tolerant it - I have very bad stomach pain -much be the side-effect of Nexium. Than, my doc switch me to Protonix 40mg morning and 40 mg in the evening - it work but not affective. I guess my symptom is getting worse. The doc at USC told me that if I don't get it fix (surgery), my symptom will continue to get worse and deteriorate...
I am scare.
I am looking at surgery. The GI doc that I had given my test to didn't think that I am due for surgery because he think that I am 40 and not 18. I won't be going back to him -that is for sure!
At the moment, I am waiting to change my insurance to PPO, so that I can go to another GI doc and get thing going. I am waitin for my work place - for the new re-enrollment. It going to be some wait.
In the mean time, I went for Linx trial out. I don't kow if I qualify. They told me to be off my PPI for 2 weeks. I was off my PPI for 3 days last time, I felt burn esophosguz, throat, soar-throat, pain, and constantly reguritation all day-sour-mouth. Very uncomformtable for that 3 days.
Now, they have me off my med for 2 weeks, starting tomorrow for the linx trial out test. They told me that I can't take any antiacid either - such as tum/mylanta, mylot. I am crossing my finger and my toes. Off PPI for 2 weeks - I don't know how I am going to hold...
My 3 tests will be at the end of this month - Manometry, 48 hr and Endoscopy. Wow - I must say - Maometry was so uncomfortable. I still had that bad chocking memory -experience when I had that months ago.
Barb, please take care of yourelf and get plenty of rest - I am glad you are feeling better with the med :D thank much -
Good nite for now :)
Marie
