NG nose tube test. So Scared any advice

Thank you guys so much for your encouraging words while I was going through my melt down. I appreciate you all so much.

I couldn't get to the office quick enough the following morning to get that darn thing out. I had a very sore throat and very irritated nose for the next couple days but I was so happy to have the whole ordeal done.

I had a indent on my face where the tube was taped down for a few days... it looked kind of funny along with my rash from when they ripped the tape off... LOL 

I have to wait for a couple weeks to get the results. I don't know why it takes so long.

I had a nice 4th with family over for a bbq and lots of boom booms. My husband goes into the I wanna blow up everything mode...LOL

How did you all survive the 4th?

I don't get along well with tape adhesive either. During the 3 week marathon at the hospital I can't tell you how many different kinds of tape they tried. If it stuck it caused a rash or blisters. If it didn't cause a reaction it wouldn't stick. I still have a scar mark from where the PICC line tape peeled my skin off the second week. It's almost as bad as the scar fron the PICC line itself.
Anyway, glad you made it through and I hope they get you some answers soon. Keep us posted!

Thank goodness my doc did the Bravo! I think I would of freaked out with the wire. He IV sedated me and did my upper GI and inserted my bravo. He said I wouldn't feel it but every time I turned my head I felt it tugging in there. I wanted sedation for the momoetry, but they said no. My nerves were torn up for days after from it. I have that anxiety discussed earlier, the "WHAT-IFS" very bad.
